Three Peaks Adventure Expedition, Everest Region, Nepal

27 Days | Trek: 22 Days | Lodge or Camp | Maximum altitude: 6189 m | Minimum: 2 People (Enjoyable for: 4 people+)

The Three Peaks Adventure takes on great challenges - crossing high mountain passes and peak-climbing as we go around the upper Khumbu. And when we do so we climb three Trekking Peaks; Island Peak (6,189m/20,305ft), Pokalde Peak (5,806m /19,049 ft) and Lobuche East (6,119m/20,075ft). We also explore the beautiful area around Gokyo Lake. This makes an unforgettable trekking experience as well as some adventurous climbs. If you are looking for some serious trekking as well as to take your climbing skills to higher level - this is a perfect trip! Suitable for small groups (most ideal for 3 to 12 people).

Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal

The peaks we summit are of moderate difficulty, technical on some small parts but otherwise a routine climbing. An experienced team including Sherpa Climbing Guide, cook and high-altitude porters/helpers will be on support throughout the trip.

The trek can be organized and is enjoyable throughout the year.

The best season is autumn (Oct/Nov) when sky is clear and weather is at its most stable. It is possible during Spring (Apr/May) too.

It is monsoon during July/August with late rain often affecting September too. Flights to Lukla can be delayed or cancelled frequently so you will need some extra days just in case.

This is not a kind of trip people do everyday. So instead of setting fixed-departure date, we organize this trip as requested by the participants. We let small groups to pick their own suitable dates.

Just email us at - [email protected]

The trek is an extended walk over three weeks. Island Peak Climb is technical in some parts - so it is recommendd that participants have some climbing experience but it is not compulsory. Pokhalde Peak and Lobuche East are relatively non-technical climbs. This means you have to be physically very sound for this trek.

If you can walk with a small backpack (like 10kg maximum) for about 7-8 hrs on a day, then you should be able to do this trek. On some days, we might have to walk for 8 to 9 hrs.

What about altitude sickness and acclimatization?

Our itineraries are carefully planned that keep plenty of time to rest and gain acclimatization at high altitudes.

Still on, it is possible to catch Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). We suggest not to rush up to altitude. Drink plenty of water, and avoid alcohol. Our guides are very experienced in noticing the symptoms of AMS early on and they will very attentive to help you.

Depending on conditions, you may have to rest at a place or descend down.

Average walking time is 5-6 hours. But depending on conditions, you may have to walk for 8 to 9 hrs. During climb, we normally make very early morning start (to reach the summit just at the time of sunrise).. There will be time for rest, take photograph and enjoy the scenery.
