Immunizations for travelling in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan |
Theare are no mandatory requirements for immunisations to enter these countries. However there are several diseases that can be prevented, or risks signifciantly decreased, by immunisations. Plan ahead to schedule your vaccinations, as some may require more than one injection. It is recommended that you seek medical advice at least four to six weeks before travelling, but even last-minute immunisations can be of value.
Discuss your requirements with your doctor, but the vaccinations you should consider for trips in these countries include the following -
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Meningococcal Meningitis
- Rabies
- Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis
- Typhoid
- Japanese Encephalities (JE) - if you are going on Jungle Safari
- Malaria - if you are going on Jungle Safari
